If someone had removed the mains earth from their keyboard to stop it humming, for example, connecting its output directly to your interface or console could easily result in the instant and total destruction of the line input op‑amp and associated circuitry, and possibly the entire unit, because the ground‑rail would float up to V AC.

I am looking forward to the day someone asks me that question. I wonder what their reaction is going to be. Possible scenarios: They will believe me, drop the subject. - They will ask to see my twitter/linkedin/etc. account instead. - They will think that I am lying and stop the interview process, which is the most dangerous one.

The organ is the oldest of keyboard instruments, dating back to the 3rd century BCE. Nearly all of the early keyboard music grew out of the tradition of accompanying church services with organ. The harpsichord came into wide use in the 15th century, but the instrument that dominates keyboard music, the piano, did not come along until the early.

Dec 31,  · I am beginner in home recording. I've recently bought a new audio interface, the Tascam USMKII, to record audio, guitar and MIDI tracks. I've successfully recorded all but the latter. For some reason I can't get any signal from my keyboard in my recording software. I've connected correctly the MIDI cables also.
